I received a letter from Southwark council yesterday that, in my opinion, says a lot about 21st century Britain and New Labour. Apparently the broken glass cement on the top of the perimeter wall of our flats is to be replaced by something that won’t cause injury to those climbing over. Er, excuse me, I thought that was the point!?
While I'm on the subject of security, I found this while I was doing a bit of online Crimbo shopping and found this beaut. It shreds your private documents into 3.5 mm x 50 mm cross-cut particles. Thrown in is a pivoting head function, and crucially, an auto-start facility. I’d like to see Mohammed from Whistlestop try and celotape my credit-card receipts back together after they've been through this baby. LOL!
