Trident

The government's White Paper on the United Kingdom's nuclear deterrent makes for interesting reading. As anyone interested in defence matters knows, Trident (as opposed to air-borne or land-based weapon systems) is the only means by which this country could take out sixteen major world cities within 45 minutes.
